hahahaha!!! Enjoyed the pictures, and the comments! Poor Sassy - who ever thought such a fine lady would have to tolerate people worrying publicly about her - uh - potty problems?
ReplyDeleteThe good news is that about midnight tonight, Sassy passed two piles of the stuff, and that after she was in really sad shape this morning. If you can believe it, it was a four foot impaction, which initially sent her into pain so intense that she nearly beat herself to death in her stall on Saturday morning, and she had a bad episode this morning in hospital. My friend Priscella, who works a rescue down in California and who helped me get Sassy up here, said that when thoroughbreds get this, they are usually dead in two hours. When I told her that Sassy had been impacted for nearly 100 hours and that she had taken a walk with me in the hospital parking lot today, Priscella said "it must be something miraculous holding that horse up." Sassy was thrilled to see the kids today, and that really perked her up.
